Hot Flash

I have a feeling I’m moving rapidly into official Menopause transition. Yesterday, at work, I had three or four hot flashes. Suddenly, I was ripping off my sweater and fanning myself which isn’t typical for a cold office in the middle of January. They didn’t last long, only a few minutes and then I was cold again and couldn’t get my sweater on fast enough. Sheesh. After the second one I decided to study the next one as it came upon me. The back of my neck got hot. My shoulders and back were hot. And, then, my face got hot. I went into the bathroom to look in the mirror to see if my face had turned red, but it hadn’t. Also, my skin wasn’t perceptibly warm, but I was HOT. This is very strange.
