Hot Weather

There’s one thing about hot weather in the Oakland/San Francisco Bay Area. It doesn’t last long. We had about 2 really hot days earlier in the week. I was dripping. I tried not to dwell on it and the minute I’d get home from work both days I stood under cool water in the shower until I felt human again. But, yesterday it was cooler and by the end of the day it was danged pleasant. Mostly, thinking that the occasional heat waves we have won’t last too long is the thought I need to help me move through them gracefully.
